LAWN CARE

Installation, watering, and care guide for sod & natural turf lawns

NATURAL TURF INSTALLATION & CARE

We are here to help! If you have any questions or concerns about laying your new Western Turf sod, please call us or stop by our showroom where we have experts ready to answer any installation or care questions you may have.

We guarantee our sod 100% against weeds and disease at the time of delivery. We cannot guarantee it will STAY disease and weed-free. Weeds can blow into yards, and proper watering is VERY important to keeping your lawn disease-free. Proper maintenance is paramount to keeping a healthy and vibrant yard for years!

SOIL AMENDMENT/GROUND PREPARATION

Before you lay your sod, the most important thing you can do is to prepare the ground correctly. If the ground is not prepared, the root system will not establish. Sod is an investment and if not done properly at the preliminary installation, you will have to replace it within a couple of years.

SIZE/WEIGHT

Each of our rolls is 10 square feet, 5 feet long by 2 feet wide. Each roll weighs about 50 pounds. A full pallet of our sod is 500 square feet (50 rolls), and weighs about 2,500 pounds. You can order less than a full pallet. If you need your sod delivered, a two day notice will guarantee delivery on the day of your choice.
