Installing your Western Turf Sod
- Lay your sod immediately after delivery.
- Begin by laying the sod in a square corner, or make a straight line to follow the first row with.
- Lay 3 rolls end to end, ensuring you roll out each in the same direction (if you don’t, the grass may appear to have different shades of green).
- Join the edges together tightly. Gaps allow the edges to dry out and provide a place for weeds to grow.
- Stagger the rolls as you would with bricks, starting every other roll with a half-roll
- Keep the sod moist as you are laying it, what has already been laid, and what is still on the pallet.
- Roll the lawn after installation to remove uneven areas and to ensure good sod/soil contact.
